Training

of horse and rider

Bloodlines always has a number of horses, carefully selected for both character and performance, at various stages of training. In addition, horses belonging to other owners are taken in training, to produce them for sale or for competition. Any horse taken in training is professionally produced and, if the owner wishes, can be competed.

Because of our choice to keep the yard small-scale, an optimal personal approach is guaranteed for each individual horse. The well-being of the horses in our care is of paramount importance, and in additional to being ridden daily, all horses have a period of relaxation in the fields each day and have extra physical training either in the horse walker, being lunged or being walked in hand.

We provide instruction for riders at all levels. The rider’s requirements and wishes are carefully considered and we propose a programme of training to suit the level and aims of the client.
